GENERAL RULES

  1. Parents/Guardians are not expected to visit their child/ward in classrooms anytime during the school operating hours, unless they are invited by the School.
  2. All belongings of the students should be carried by the child. No delivery of items is permitted in the School.
  3. Kindly ensure that the child reports to his/her classes on time.
  4. No student will be allowed to leave the School early, except in case of emergency or in case the student is unwell. Such leave shall be granted on the discretion of School Principal’s approval.
  5. Kindly ensure that your child does not carry any valuable item to the School. If lost the school is not responsible.
  6. No mobile phone is allowed to be carried to the school by any student without explicit and written permission of the respective class teacher.
  7. Parents should ensure that the child is dedicating time towards his or her home-work and gets complete set of books as per the prescribed time-table and booklist.
  8. Parents should send their children in the specified school uniform and on time. The Physical Education Director is the competent authority to check the uniform.
  9. Check your child’s school diary every day. Teacher’s remarks should be noted and signed.
  10. Enquire about your child’s progress at least once in a month.
  11. Boys should have close cut hair style. Girls should not have streaked hair and fancy hairstyles. Hair should be plaited. Girls are not to sport painted nails or mehandi.
  12. Parents are equally responsible for the safe passage of the child to and from the school.

CODE OF CONDUCT

  1. The school begins at 9:15 am and ends at 3:00 pm.
  2. The students are expected to speak in English, while they are in the campus.
  3. Pupils must be in their classrooms by the first bell at 9:00 am. Those who come earlier are expected to sit in their classroom, preparing lessons in silence.
  4. At the school bell, on the days when there is school assembly all should march to the place assigned for each class and arrange themselves according to their heights.
  5. At the end of the day before the students dispense, a thanks giving prayer is said led by the school choir followed by the National Anthem.
  6. If at the start no teacher has arrived, the class leader should see that order and silence are maintained. If after five minutes the teacher does not yet arrive, the leader should inform the Principal.
  7. During intervals and play time pupils should not go out of the school campus. They should avoid shouting or quarrelling or the use of discourteous language. All complaints should be brought to the class teacher.
  8. Students should bring their handbook daily to the school. Those who lose it will be fined 10. When the teacher enters or leaves the class all pupils must stand up.
  9. Textbooks and notebooks according to the time table of the day must be brought to the class. No student may bring to the school or have in his keeping any periodicals, comics, magazines etc. without the Principal's permission.

  11. No visitors will be permitted to see the pupils during class hours.
  12. Going to one classroom to another between periods should be done in silence.
  13. Pupils should attend the school regularly and punctually. Habitual latecomers will not be allowed to enter their classes without the permission from the Principal.
  14. Students should never forget to greet the teachers and elders. Any exchange of articles of money transaction between students is forbidden.
  15. They must have genuine love for their school and should try to keep its tone very high No one should do anything that would bring discredit to him-self or to the school.
  16. Students should see that no damage is done to the school property. Any damage caused should be brought to notice of the authorities.
  17. The school authorities will not entertain any request for early monthly tests, examination etc. Likewise, pupils absent from a written test or examination are not re-examined.
  18. No students will be allowed to sit for terminal and final examinations unless all fee are paid to date.

  19. Leave of absence
  20. The reason for the absence must be explained on the page of the handbook reserved for the purpose, over the parent's signature.
  21. No Leave of absence is granted for terminal and monthly examination. Absence from such test papers and examinations will be considered a serious breach of school discipline.
  22. No student will be sent home, even if some urgent need arises, unless a duly author person comes to take him with a note of authority from the parent.
  23. Students who absent themselves from class for 15 days or more, without information have their names removed from the roll and they may be re-admitted only according department rules.

  24. School Uniform
  25. Students must be clean in their habits and be neatly dressed. The uniform must be can well-dressed and complete-wearing school uniform is obligatory under penalty of exclusion from classrooms.

  26. School Library
  27. The school library should be put to good use by all the students and the stall.
  28. Students are permitted to borrow only one book at a time and should retain it only for a period of one week
  29. Reference books and periodicals should not be taken out of the Reading Room
  30. Every book borrowed should be returned by the end of February, every year.
  31. Strict silence should be maintained inside the Library.

  32. School bus
  33. Parents who want to send their children by the school bus should previously apply to the principal.
  34. The school bus will not wait for late comers.
  35. The bus fees should be paid before the 10th of every month in the school office. Defaulters will be fined
  36. Notice is to be given before discontinuing the use of the school bus. Any change of boarding point should be made known to the school office in time.
  37. If the school bus fails to come any day on account of some unforeseen difficulty the students should come by other means. No complaint will be entertained on such issues.
