The Congregation of Basilian Sisters Daughters of Saint Macrina is a centralized religious institute, whose government is exercised by a superior general, assisted by a general council. The general house is located in Grottaferrata ( Rome ). The Basilians live according to the Rule of Saint Basil and their apostolate is broad, however, characteristic of their charism is the fact that they dedicate to the care of Albanian migrants of the Byzantine rite, especially the Arbëreshë . In 2015, there were about 93 religious in 13 monasteries, present in: Albania , India , Italy and Kosovo.
